We were about 300 miles back in the bush out of Lagos, Nigeria. Upon our arrival in the village, we went to the head man to pay our respects and get his permission for a meeting. He not only gave us permission, but offered his services as a translator into the native bush dialect as well.
At this particular meeting, each time a question was being asked in the native dialect, I repeated in my heart the Greatest Name, and when the question was translated into English, the answer came into my heart and mind. Not just the obvious question, but the reason behind the question.
At the
end of the meeting, one of the men stood up and said in a strong voice"With the
answer to the last question, for the first time in my life, I am at peace with the
knowledge of God and am convinced that my Muslim and Juju brothers worship the same God
that I do." One after another, nine people stood up and made their dramatic
declarations in the same way.
By the next day, we left this village with a strong community of 11 new believers.
